Hello, my name is Chris Bricker. I have started this blog to create electronics and 3D prints. I will be using AutoCad Fusion 360 and AutoCad Eagle to create items of my own design. I want to really showcase the power of these tools to show you how to create a prototype and potentially take something to market. I also have plans to start woodworking and general machining. You will also be experiencing my journey through taking all of these things and producing some art related projects with these.

I would also like to take you with me when I go out and experience things. I want to go out on excursions with my son and my dog. I have an interest in FPV drones. I also want to take you with me camping and backpacking. I love Astronomy. I have an interest in taking these to local maker spaces both here in Cleveland and in my hometown. My goal in all of this is to bring awareness to underprivileged people to be entrepreneurs and to be makers. If you have an idea, you need to understand where you can go to seize a hold of your ideas and dreams.

About me. I live in the Cleveland area. I work for a Fortune 500 Company as a PCB Designer. I have a degree in Computer Engineering Technology from Purdue. I was a KC-135 Crew Chief in the United States Air Force. I have a high degree of mechanical skills from being a mechanic to working at a Tool & Die shop for many years. I have a good degree of skill taking these elements and combining them into products. I have experience with signals and radio. I also have some networking skills that I have picked up on the way as well. With my degree I minored in Math and Physics. So be prepared to go through topics and to be able to understand them on the other side.
Many of the movement in new ideas these days are from taking sensors and making them do things for you. This is the whole idea behind IOT. This is not about the industrialization of IOT, but leveraging these things to create ways to make your life easier. Some of this will deal with making and using data to provide you with info about your daily life. This data can be used to predict actions through modeling. I will use my experience with programming to show you how to take that data and build algorithms to understand the data that you get.

I do not wish to get political. I may do some through Patreon and my blog, but I will reserve the idea of going into politics when it comes to all things technology. A lot of laws get passed that may look benign on the outside but they can really effect how you interact with this technological world that we live in.
My goal is to have a Daily Vlog through Patreon with one to two videos a week on YouTube in a more long form format. I will connect with you using Twitter as well. I will combine these with the blog here. I will present stories and how-to presentations through a mixed media format. So will you join me on my adventures in all STEAM related things. And yes I do not believe in STEM, because without Art you can not realize the ideas of STEM. You need art to be able to imagine your idea and conceptualize a workable plan that may one day be your product that makes you successful. If that happens to you, maybe you will allow me to present your story to others.

Now everyone is dealing with the struggles of the Coronavirus or Covid-19. And I am certainly not any different. I can’t wait to get a haircut. I can’t wait to get out and see this new City that I recently moved to. I am going to try and ramp this up as everyone goes back to work and goes back to normal life.
I am interested in presenting a wide range of things, ideas, and concepts. I first have to create videos of my setups, and the products that I use everyday. So much work.
